Group Study Rooms

Collaboration and Productivity

Learning teams, group projects, and team-based simulations are central to Wharton's emphasis on collaborative and experiential learning.

At Wharton, students have 24/7 access to 57 Group Study Rooms located on the first four floors of Huntsman Hall – well-equipped mini-labs where teams can meet to do research, work on group projects, and create and practice presentations.

Wharton faculty also use Group Study Rooms located near their classrooms for group breakout sessions or in-class simulations. Competing teams run data and debate strategy in private, their decisions linked across stations and monitored centrally in the classroom.

"Everything for a Brainstorming Session"

"It's great to have space where you can do group work in a work-like environment – not sitting on somebody's couch or somebody's floor – with a table and a white board and everything you need for a brainstorming session or to think through a problem."

Allison Myatt, WG'06
