Telepresence Spaces

WHAT IS TELEPRESENCE?

Telepresence is a unique technology that breaks through standard virtual meeting barriers, allowing more effective global collaboration. Wharton uses this technology to create a two way connection between any of its three campuses, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Beijing. With this enhanced communication experience, instructors are able to teach to their students from any Wharton campus while maintaining the look and feel of a traditional classroom. Telepresence is also used as a tool to extend departmental communication between Wharton sites, making staff everywhere feel like part of the discussion.
